Today, I saw that I had these little pebbles still sitting around half painted… I begun this a few years ago, and never completed them… I am leaving for a short holiday tomorrow, so I didn’t want to start a huge project, and thought I could just finish these. And it’s so nice, and so satisfying. I really enjoy painting pebbles, but in the end, they turn out so useless. They look great, and people love them, but once home, with this painted pebble in your palm, you think “what am I going to do with this?” and it goes in a drawer somewhere… This is why I begun to make other things that can be displayed better. But I just really love painting pebbles… So I don’t think I’ll be able to stop it completely, especially since I have a giant box full of pebbles in the studio 🙂
